David Bux
Managing Director
Started Halt Motor Company in 1979 and it is now a well-established family business, with sons James and Charles, both Directors, now running the workshop full-time. HMC has been specialising in quality used cars since 1984 and all aspects of after-sales, including servicing, repairs and MOTs. As a professional car care centre, we have the latest equipment, which allows our qualified mechanics to diagnose any problems quickly.
Graham Vandervelde
Heads up our sales team with over 46 years motor trade experience who has been in the motor trade for over 46 years. He started with Henlys the Jaguar distributor in 1968. From 1973 to 1982 Graham was selling Citroens in Mill Hill. In 1983 he went on his own specialising in good quality low mileage cars and joined our organisation in 2013.
Charlie Bux
Workshop and Technical Manager joined Halt Motor Company in 2005 as an apprentice and completed a thorough training course. He is a fully qualified Motor Technician and Master Technician for Daihatsu, as well as an MOT tester for cars and motorcycles. His main interests are motor sports and football.
James Bux
Customer Services and Parts Manager after achieving a BA degree in Business Studies at University joined us soon afterwards. He is knowledgeable in all aspects of the Motor trade having worked in our organization for over 15 years. James is also a motor sports enthusiast.
Tracey Bux
Assists with administration and secretarial duties on a part-time basis. She has been involved in Halt Motor Company since its inception and is knowledgeable on most aspects of the business.
In our Workshop, which was established in 1988, we have experienced technicians and staff who are qualified to carry out servicing and repairs on all makes of cars. Advice can also be given on all aspects of car maintenance and body work.
We are also an approved VOSA MOT Testing centre for cars and motorcycles with three qualified testers on site.
